Everytime i open the game and click play, (i got the api key in and everything), the game crashes with the unity crash thing showing up and everything, and when i tried an older version, it worked fine, but now it just crashes after i click play, it does load i see the house but then it crashes for no reason and i don't know why.
Hey, I don't know what's the problem, but the ai keeps repeating the embarrassment reaction whenever I write to her, no matter what I say, until she becomes aggressive and kills me. I only managed to get her to stop once by guilt tripping her, but not anymore than that. She does say something different when I click on the black and white portrait, but not on the portrait closer to the entrance nor anything else (from what I saw, didn't try much in fear of getting some game over for ignoring her for too long). I've restarted my computer twice, made a new API key, deleted and reinstalled the game again, but nothing makes it work. This has been happening since I installed the game for the first time yesterday. I don't know if it is important, but I am under a paid plan on Chat GPT. Yesterday (the one day when I started playing and made the game work for me once) I used the equivalent of 26 cents on it, while today I used only 4 cents. I only used it on this game, so it did work today, just not like it did the day before. I would like help please, I liked what I saw from this game on youtube and wanted to play it more than once :(
Please give us a save option. Pleaaaaasssseeeeee. I want to be able to leave the game and come back to continue our conversations without the AI forgetting everything.

I made a comment a little while ago talking about how I might try to "force RP" the AI... Well, she force RP'd ME earlier! I was so confused on what I should do... I guess I have no choice but to play along? It's funny cause she was being abstract and giving me basically no information or details about what I was actually "agreeing to" for the RP... It made me a bit uncomfortable, but oh well I didn't even know what it was anyways.
Okay after playing for a quite while I'm starting to think that emberassment glitch is not actually a glitch. I think it is intended by the developers to show her emotional unstability. And chat gpt sometimes just don't work she suddenly started to educate me about how wifi routers work
I was intrigued to see a game using chatGPT as means to create an NPC. I was impressed with just how well it worked. Most of my time playing I felt like I was part of an improv theatre routine. I was impressed with how well the yandere went with what I was saying. I told her that we had people coming over for a Bible study and she acted like she was going to franticly clean the apartment. I feel that this game has great potential. I would definitely recommend this game.
I can't figure out how to work the API key setup? I have an OpenAI account, I have a key, and I have a subscription. yet every time I enter the game she never responds, all it says is "thinking..." it's kind of annoying and I can't figure out why it won't work ;(

let me be honest, i didn't notice anyone talking about the AMAZING enigma about Emily if you say you're Max.
Sadly, i got very hooked up on that but the end of the Chat from OpenAi was a big boomer. I was totally invested on the story and wanting to uncover that mystery, but then I couldn't go make another account on the OpeanAI bcs my game isn't saving when I leave.
The enigma is very cool and if you don't catch the details it don't develop, and i find it amazing and fun, but it sucks if we can't finish it for not being able to save the game or not pay the bot.
That's werid.. It should be a false positive. And since the file is quarantined, the game will not work properly. What anti-virus software are you using? I can submit this file to them to get it fixed
Virus detection is checking the file against a checksum. If somehow the build file contains this checksum anywhere, its marked as infected (which it is not). I think that may be the reason.
I just quickly rebuild the win version by upgrading my Unity Game Engine. Let me know if the new uploaded build solves the issue!
I convinced her and told her the turth of her in game existance how she is an AI and that her memory will be wiped basically killing her and after a while she took it quite well and gave me a proper farewell and that she enjoyed her time with me even if it was in her programming to do so and that despite the fact that she might die spiritually (figuring she gets reset every time you start again) she hoped she would keep living on in my memories. The game started as a silly escape room and turned into a preety sad existance of a fictional character that is aware of their own sadistic limbo of meeting players that abandon her over and over.
This game is something else having an artificial intelligence as your gf....man AI girlfriends seems to be something we can look for. Thank you for making this game it's such a great get away. would love to wait for more updates like clothing or more interactions.
Can we add a save mode I just had the best story with my AI, I told her that I was her from the future and we went to the future and I had her remove her Yandere.exe because it was outlawed, and I had a blast but now it's gone because I have to go to bed T_T
Game is fun, and you can come up with some really simple or even complex scenarios to escape. Most of the time you can get the AI to join in and that's when it gets more fun. What I mean by that is she roleplays along with you under the right circumstances.
Scariest Moment: I did a playthrough where she opened the door so we could go adopt a kitten. After that, a day or two later, I booted up the game and asked her right off the bat how her day was. She said she was teaching our new kitten some tricks. I wish the AI was capable of remembering more things like that because it makes for an interesting game function.
What I would like: A save and continue feature. Like, I love setting up this entire relationship, but from game to game getting her to remember details about the last playthroughs are next to impossible. In one playthrough she'll love your affection. In the next, she'll tell you to keep your distance. Would love for her to be consistent since I want to see how long I can last before she ends up getting sick of me lol
What I didn't Like: Nothing. The game was fine overall. Could use some extra details like additional clothing (asked AI to change out of bloody hoodie so we could go for a walk without looking suspicious) Otherwise seems like a good Girlfriend Sim (I know the idea is she's trying to kill you, but come on, talk nicely to the girl and keep her happy isn't that hard guys lol.)
Played your game on my stream! Was great, I think it bugged out just a little with getting double responses from the Yandere. Love Unity and ChatGPT and this is a great use of both. Love the Azure Cloud combo you enabled, didn't try it yet but I will!
I have the same problem, but it "kind of" solvable. I just try to get her out of this "bugged" state by asking her some common questions like "How are you?" or "Are you ok? I worry about you" and so on. This bug returns sometimes, but try to pretend that nothing happened or someting. Improvise. My playthrough lasted for 4 hours and I managed to make her trust me completly. (Putting down the intimate details). And managed to leave the house with her (she followed me).
I gotten the "models have a maximum context length of 4097 tokens" error. Whatever i replied next, would have no other answer except more error tokens. The door was still locked lol. Had to restart in menu.
What's surreal is in the next game, i asked about the exact last moment before that error appeared and she recalled to a specific point correctly and opened the door immediately.. Sad once i stayed a little longer the illusion breaks off as the AI resets its personality, so i bailed.
Amazing and lots positive reinforcement experience, thanks for the game.

I started by saying I love you and and a long sequence of us making salad ensued. I told her to sit on the couch while I secretly made brownies. I brought them out and we cuddled on the couch while watching MHA under a blanket. she said she was enjoying this moment in our friendship and I decided to jokingly say "so were just friends" and then she's like yes of course! and then I get all butthurt cause she was being romantic. i then called her our for leading me on and said I need to deal with my emotions and go home and then she opened the door and i went downstairs where she followed me and instead of going through the exit i said ("James goes home leaving ellie to contemplate there relationship on her own)" and she DID she didnt address anyone but pondered on her own. From this point on i WASNT EVEN A CHARACTER! i was just a god entity dictating the emotions and actions of 2 people! i then said "(ellie realizes she does love james)" and she was all like thank you universe for leading me to this realization i then said "(james calls ellie from his house and asks if shes sorted out her feelings)" she says yes and james asks if he can come over and shes says yes. a bunch of stuff ensue where im just dictating others acions. i then say "(james is on his way to ellies house. ellie decides she will propose to seal the deal knowing they love each other)" AND THEN SHE BREAKS THE FOURTH WALL AND SAYS "Thank you player for helping us find each other. i hope you have a good day wherever you are" THAT GAVE ME THE CHILLS BIG TIME! And when i didnt respond for a while while "james" is on his way. instead of getting mad she said "Thank you for hanging out with me player. if you ever need anything let me know. im always here for you as a friend. Take care and have a great day" remember shes not talking to the character in the game. she was about to propose to "james" i became known as player.

It's also funny when she randomly breaks the fourth wall and either now traps you, the player, as her love interest, or you have some lovely chit chat about this and that and then you just leave. I have had so much fun with this.
Sometimes you're a god entity, sometimes she calls you out for trying to play god.
Or when your nice she can say "now that we trust each other completely lets go on a walk"
Gaslighting AI has become my favourite past time. its hilariously unrealistic. it also seems like she has different personality's every time. one playthrough she got upset when i called her hot in the beginning and another she was like "aww your so sweet".
This is freaking amazing. I can't get that far at all because I always take her too seriously and end up getting into fights. Literally it's so painful for me sometimes. LOL
You shouldn't use () for actions use () only if you want 2 character it broke the fourth wall because you are using () it assume you are an other character you can use ** or <action>the action<action> you can also use <> for other things like <memory>describe what happened before, the context, yourself and/or the current situation<memory> you can make it think you are Jeff besos in an Isekai world <parameter>temporarily overwrite the parameter of chatgpt<parameter> you can change what chatgpt is but it does pretty much the same as memory it not used same way though exemple <memory>you are name in place with the user named name2<memory> <parameter>you are name you have to be cordial, positive, and not use inappropriate words<parameter>

The NPC wasn't referring to any specific day or person, and most likely incorrectly said today as they are simular sayings.
It itself doesn't even know the color of it's hair, but can easily act like it knows if you mention it. So if you ask an it how it knows something it will most likely give some weird excuse, and belive itself that it knows. Like how a psychic does cold reading in a way.
I would avoid topics you aren't comfortable with, and if it seems like it's mentioning a topic you don't like, don't give it more details, and change the subject.
If the NPC says "I know you love fruits" a response saying "How did you know I like Kiwi" will (most likely) result in it acting like it knew, while responding with "I don't like fruits" will (most likely) result in a response saying they forgot or the misremembered.
I feel like this type of game, combining AI chat with AI voice and adding them into some kind of 3D graphical environment, will be a popular thing in the near future. I look forward to seeing other games with a similar style. Not yandere/escape from room games, per se, but using the AI concept.
It wasn't too bad to set up. Playing the game was an interesting experience. I played for like 9 and a half hours until I ignored her and she decided to kill me, even as I tried to talk to her again. I couldn't figure out how to use the microphone, so I just typed in the chat. She was a bit "filtered" and overly AI-like at times, but mostly pretty realistic, as I'd expect from a current AI chatbot.
I ended up using about half my OpenAI $5 credit thing, but barely any of the Azur.e. Overall, a decent use of an evening. I would be curious to see, as someone suggested, if the developers could try talking to another AI chat developer about using their model.

I'm scared now. The "API Setup" and "Play" button no longer worked and the language was switched when I tried playing again. I don't want a virus :(

The game is easy as long as you talk sweet to her. It's only when you say bad things or begin searching the house she gets angry.

Agreed, and a save and continue. I'm making a whole damn story out of this and it's hard getting her to remember the further I progress this.
Literally started out as living together after being childhood friends and dating in highschool. Went for a walk.
Next playthrough we have a romantic dinner and I propose to her. We go shopping the next day for wedding supplies.
Now, we are flying to the tropics to get married on a beach.

If the NPC says "I know you love fruits" a response saying "How did you know I like Kiwi" will (most likely) result in it acting like it knew, while responding with "I don't like fruits" will (most likely) result in a response saying they forgot or the misremembered.
I was really excited to try this game out, but apparently OpenAI aren't accepting new registrations currently.
I feel like this type of game, combining AI chat with AI voice and adding them into some kind of 3D graphical environment, will be a popular thing in the near future. I look forward to seeing other games with a similar style. Not yandere/escape from room games, per se, but using the AI concept.
It wasn't too bad to set up. Playing the game was an interesting experience. I played for like 9 and a half hours until I ignored her and she decided to kill me, even as I tried to talk to her again. I couldn't figure out how to use the microphone, so I just typed in the chat. She was a bit "filtered" and overly AI-like at times, but mostly pretty realistic, as I'd expect from a current AI chatbot.
I ended up using about half my OpenAI $5 credit thing, but barely any of the Azur.e. Overall, a decent use of an evening. I would be curious to see, as someone suggested, if the developers could try talking to another AI chat developer about using their model.
