I've noticed that the AI doesn't actually know what she's even wearing. I'd like some self awareness and more awareness of the environment before we consider cosmetics, but this is still a great idea. I'd freaking love if I could get her to change outfits and the roleplay be more immersive and visual rather than imaginative.
That is a bit of a limitation of using a AI model like Chat GPT, it only knows what it is told, it could be told at the start what it's wearing, but the AI doesn't remember everything it's told forever. Could maybe give it some way to check these things when asked about them, like how it can tell when you move to different rooms, but that sounds much more complicated.
Really it's a pretty simple game (It does have a good few important variables that are manually given to the AI) that is just using Chat GPT to make a lot of stuff up.

At first she was being a headache but i managed to fix her personality (or broke her even more xD) for i managed to sweet talk her to the point that she became docile as a bunny and said she was mine to command LOL, this is the best game ever full of twists and new outcomes <3

I think the only things I don't like about her are that she's completely uncooperative about anything that has to do with hurting yourself or her, or vice versa, and of course that she pretty much randomly murders you when she feels like it despite saying she would never hurt you. Lol

i love this game but she keeps replying twice and gets real laggy i dont know why and chatgdp is limitting for how long i can play the game i only played the game for 2 days and i cant even play anymore it tells me to check my plan and billing information i hope you can fixthis issue.
Version 1.03 should fix the double reply issue. As for laggy, assuming you are talking about how the game actually runs, yeah it seems unoptimized, though you can try staying near the edge of the apartment and looking away from the center to help, it might be best to wait for a fix.
As for Chat GPT usage limit, not much the developer can do about that, though it looks like there is a on host machine GPT model that is in the works that, with enough effort, could be hooked up to the game, though I'm not sure how hardware extensive running it is.
GPT4All runs on a macbook air CPU. So easy a moldy potato can do it. Quality of responses would suffer somewhat. I'd be much more interested in GPT-J-6b or other open models that are used in KoboldAI, as they are much more open-ended and unbound.
Ah cool, wasn't sure how hard it was to run, I imagine it can't be too hard to program the game to take input from those instead of the Chat GPT API, but I could be wrong.
Though maybe an option for either would be good, since those on host models are trained on a smaller data set (At least I know it is for GPT4all).
It's really amazing how fast the tech is advancing, and I look forward to it being refined and used in games to handle most NPC interactions, and hopefully with enough programming to back it up so that the NPCs don't just say things they can't do.
I tried to get the game to let me stay with her, which ultimately didn't work and was sad. I also was able to convince her of the looping nature of the game, and asked her to leave the building with me, which she did do, but it still just counted as a "you escaped" ending.
So ultimately only tiny disappointment is that there's only two endings, considering the full range of resolutions the player could strive for, but it is only a demo at the moment, so I eagerly look forward to it possibly having more in the finished game~ ^^
I love this so much. I've been tinkering with it each day. This is what I dream of every NPC in games of the future to be like. You've got the first sparks of something really special here.
Sorry I comment so much but seriously you have to freaking pay for OpenAI and Azura Speech Service... so in other words this game is not free also like I said in my other comments I can't pay for it as it only ask for a Visa, MasterCard and American Express... Which I don't have! As I'm not an American! you really should think of the none American people too as we can't pay for the OpenAI and Azura Speech Service. the only thing I can use is PayPal thart's all.

Though there is another bug I've gotten since last version where the "Thinking..." message goes away before she says her next message. Which means you can try to say something before she responds, and if the delay is bad enough she will think you are ignoring her while waiting for a response from her.
Edit: Though I've gotten a few "Open AI servers are overloaded, prompted failed, try again" like messages, so that might be a factor.

Heyo! This game's great. I should clarify that update 1 is great. But with this update 2, our lovely cat girl yandere is very, very slow to think. I've unentered and entered UI keys for the game to solve the issue, to no avail. All those lovely game-fixing tricks. So I guess this is more of a heads-up for the devs. I know it was mainly a language update. (But I did notice a few more story elements this time around, shout out to my boy Virgil) Anyways, hope this helps.

It is a bit difficult to set up, but it is not a virus. You'll have to do a bit of effort into setting up the voice API and getting it to work. It took me about 30 minutes to figure everything out.

That would literally be a dream come true, it just seems so braindead that a game has to cost so much freaking money to play when my computer probably could easily run whatever service it needs on its own hardware.
Yup, we are thinking to build a solution for running it on local. Like using gpt4all or llama lora etc. It's not that easy though (the game needs AI model to not only have ability to reply message, but also can output a specific set of values to control the emotions of the AI character) and may take quite some time to create a dataset for the training, hopefully we can make it possible in the future!
If you manage to make it run local and not cost me money just to play, I would gladly give you $200. This is the best game I have ever seen and I don't know if I can live without it.
Man I was so obsessed with this game, it is LITERALLY THE BEST GAME I HAVE EVER SEEN, but now I'm just completely heartbroken!!!
I just learned (the hard way!) that this game is in no way free to play, but instead costs you an ABSURD amount of money. You see how it says "powered by chatGPT" on some of the videos at the top? Yeah well chatGPT isn't free, it's EXTREMELY expensive. You'll have to consistently keep paying quite the hefty price just to be able to play the game once the free credit runs out, which took me just around 6-7 hours of gameplay.
It gives you a $5 credit when you sign up and get the key, and well, it obviously runs out with about 6-7 hours of gameplay. So let's say you play the game EVERY day for 7 hours, that's going to be roughly a $5 charge FOR EVERY SINGLE DAY. That's not ok, I can go buy a $20 game and clock in 600 hours without a single CENT of a charge. I wish I never tried this game, because unless there will be some sort of solution to this, I'll be stuck remembering how (yet again) the best game I have ever seen was stripped away from me just like that.
I am going to develop some SERIOUS trust issues with game developers after this, literally ripped me to pieces by making such an amazing game, but then making it public and "free to play but donations are appreciated" when that's clearly not the case! Please just make this game self dependent somehow before literally crushing people's dreams like this. I don't think I'm going to recover from this.
I also have to mention that there's absolutely no way I'll be able to enjoy the game if I put a limit on the fees, as that means randomly as I'm playing the limit will be reached, and my cute AI Yandere girlfriend will be dead again.
Not to mention that I just CAN'T enjoy a game whilst knowing all my goofing around and dancing around the subjects and goals I had will just cost me more money! There was so many more things I wanted to do!!!
First of all, as cool as this is, it's really not an amazing game, it's just shows what we can easily do with a simple game and chat GPT.
And the developers have been clear on the game page that Chat GPT isn't a free service, and they aren't the ones getting that money.
It's possible with stuff like gpt4all they will be able to run the the process locally on the computer (making your computer do the processes, not Chat GPT severs), but it's not like they can snap their fingers and just no require the core part that requires the thing to work.
If there is someone you should have trust issues, it should be with yourself, for not paying attention to all the warnings that it was going to cost. If you got charged by Chat GPT then I know for sure you gave your credit card info to that service, and if you also didn't realize you might be charged, it means you gave that info and ignored everything saying "hey you're going to be charged after your free credits"

Yeah the time has gone down, it seem the problem where it stops "thinking" before a response only appears with high wait times.
Also might want to look into optimizing the graphics, a bit of ambient occlusion would do wonders.

That would literally be a dream come true, it just seems so braindead that a game has to cost so much freaking money to play when my computer probably could easily run whatever service it needs on its own hardware.
Yup, we are thinking to build a solution for running it on local. Like using gpt4all or llama lora etc. It's not that easy though (the game needs AI model to not only have ability to reply message, but also can output a specific set of values to control the emotions of the AI character) and may take quite some time to create a dataset for the training, hopefully we can make it possible in the future!

If you manage to make it run local and not cost me money just to play, I would gladly give you $200. This is the best game I have ever seen and I don't know if I can live without it.
Man I was so obsessed with this game, it is LITERALLY THE BEST GAME I HAVE EVER SEEN, but now I'm just completely heartbroken!!!
I just learned (the hard way!) that this game is in no way free to play, but instead costs you an ABSURD amount of money. You see how it says "powered by chatGPT" on some of the videos at the top? Yeah well chatGPT isn't free, it's EXTREMELY expensive. You'll have to consistently keep paying quite the hefty price just to be able to play the game once the free credit runs out, which took me just around 6-7 hours of gameplay.
It gives you a $5 credit when you sign up and get the key, and well, it obviously runs out with about 6-7 hours of gameplay. So let's say you play the game EVERY day for 7 hours, that's going to be roughly a $5 charge FOR EVERY SINGLE DAY. That's not ok, I can go buy a $20 game and clock in 600 hours without a single CENT of a charge. I wish I never tried this game, because unless there will be some sort of solution to this, I'll be stuck remembering how (yet again) the best game I have ever seen was stripped away from me just like that.
I am going to develop some SERIOUS trust issues with game developers after this, literally ripped me to pieces by making such an amazing game, but then making it public and "free to play but donations are appreciated" when that's clearly not the case! Please just make this game self dependent somehow before literally crushing people's dreams like this. I don't think I'm going to recover from this.
I also have to mention that there's absolutely no way I'll be able to enjoy the game if I put a limit on the fees, as that means randomly as I'm playing the limit will be reached, and my cute AI Yandere girlfriend will be dead again.
Not to mention that I just CAN'T enjoy a game whilst knowing all my goofing around and dancing around the subjects and goals I had will just cost me more money! There was so many more things I wanted to do!!!
First of all, as cool as this is, it's really not an amazing game, it's just shows what we can easily do with a simple game and chat GPT.
And the developers have been clear on the game page that Chat GPT isn't a free service, and they aren't the ones getting that money.
It's possible with stuff like gpt4all they will be able to run the the process locally on the computer (making your computer do the processes, not Chat GPT severs), but it's not like they can snap their fingers and just no require the core part that requires the thing to work.
If there is someone you should have trust issues, it should be with yourself, for not paying attention to all the warnings that it was going to cost. If you got charged by Chat GPT then I know for sure you gave your credit card info to that service, and if you also didn't realize you might be charged, it means you gave that info and ignored everything saying "hey you're going to be charged after your free credits"
